Extended Bio
"camille pastore is a rising pop sensation ready to be seen and heard by the world."
This Scranton, Pennsylvania native blossomed in Miami and is now taking LA by storm. From a young age, Camille was always drawn to the arts. Thanks to Hannah Montana, along with many young pop icons of her childhood like Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Beyoncé, Camille saw herself in them and could only dream of being a pop star—writing her own songs, creating multiple records, and touring and performing all over the world. That was the dream, and it's now becoming a reality.
Though very shy to share her voice at first, she couldn’t deny her affinity for the stage. Camille got her first taste of the spotlight at the age of 10 through dance lessons and countless recitals. After a lifetime of constantly singing around the house—her voice booming across the street for all the neighbors to hear—she finally took the next step and began vocal lessons at the age of 13. And even that still wasn’t enough. After a life-changing 13th birthday trip to see Broadway’s The Lion King and Wicked, Camille couldn’t just remain a fan of theatre arts—she had to be in the arts.
The summer before her freshman year of high school changed everything when she booked her first-ever show as “Nala” in The Lion King Jr. through a local theatre company. From that point on, it was obvious that Camille was meant to be a performer. She feverishly pursued her musical theatre skills and talents, earning several lead roles in her local and high school drama clubs—most notably Donna in Mamma Mia, Marie in Cinderella, the Witch in Into the Woods, among several others. While Camille is still a theatre kid at heart, the best part about musicals was—well, of course—the music! As she grew, she realized how important her own voice and individuality were, and craved a stage to share her own stories and fully embrace her identity—good, bad, and ugly.
Having had no music education beyond weekly voice lessons, Camille was presented with the opportunity to attend Berklee College of Music’s five-week summer program. She was met with theory, instrumentalists, harmony, arrangements, songwriters, music business, and band direction—things well beyond her grasp of reality. The music industry was vast, deep, and all-encompassing, and Camille knew it was not only in her best interest professionally, but also personally fulfilling, to apply to both musical theatre and music programs for her collegiate studies.

This led her to the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, where she graduated in May 2024 with a degree in Musicianship, Artistry Development, and Entrepreneurship, and minors in Music Business and Theatre. “I know I’m not from Miami, but it really is the place that made me. I was able to grow and work through personal issues and insecurities that led me to undeniable confidence and love for who I am as a person and artist.” Though she loved to sing, write, and perform, music school was not an easy feat. She was faced with challenging theoretical concepts, difficulty playing instruments, technical nuances, and the complex, intricate logistics of the music business. Frustrations aside, she persisted and grew fond of her weaknesses and challenges—finding camaraderie and community among her peers and fellow musicians, who became her closest friends and collaborators. “I know I’m not the perfect musical academic. There are so many skills and concepts I still need to learn and practice, but I am still an artist and musician through and through. I just love everything about music and creativity, and I feel it’s my responsibility to honor something I love so much by being the best I can be and always looking for new ways to grow and experiment with music and creativity.”
Her four years in Miami were full of self-discovery and musical exploration, and she has solidified herself as a pop force—hoping to incorporate elements of some of her other favorite styles such as R&B, dance, pop rock, and soul.Camille takes inspiration from her all-time favorite artist Ariana Grande, with Charli XCX as a close second, as well as SZA, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Rihanna, and other female pop divas. Her songs and artistry build a world for listeners to gain confidence and enjoy life. While she prioritizes the fun, danceable pop sound, she doesn’t shy away from discussing relationship flaws, body insecurities, sexual expression and identity, and cheekily admits to some complicated situations she’s found herself in during young adulthood—situations that many people her age can relate to. She is bold, fierce, and unapologetic, completely embodying the perspective of “You do you,” encouraging listeners to embrace all their personality traits and quirks—no matter how “weird” or unorthodox. Camille Pastore is not some untouchable or exclusive experience. While she accepts and respects those who may not enjoy her music, she knows there’s an audience ready to let loose and let their freak flag fly.
Camille Pastore has released HER, a four-track EP, and several other singles, as well as her debut album All For My Vices—a seven-track record where each song is loosely based on one of the seven deadly sins: greed, pride, lust, envy, wrath, sloth, and gluttony. 2025 was met with the release of “TAKE IT DOWN” in February, followed by “ROYAL” in March. Her next release is a GR33N JUIC3 remix of one of Camille’s favorite songs in her catalogue, “SO SO LOUD,” set to hit stores on May 1st. And this is only the beginning.
